Official Meeting at Al Barakah Palace
His Majesty the Sultan, may God protect him, received at Al Barakah Palace
His Excellency Dr. the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
During the meeting, they consulted on the latest regional developments, as well as
mediation efforts and initiatives aimed at ending conflicts. His Majesty was briefed
on the Iranian side’s perspectives regarding these developments, while His Excellency
the Minister listened to His Majesty’s views on ways to advance these efforts in a
manner that enhances prospects for sustainable political solutions and mitigates the
impact of crises on the peoples of the region.
His Majesty affirmed the importance of prioritizing dialogue and diplomacy in
addressing issues, as a means of reinforcing the foundations of peace.
For his part, His Excellency Dr. the Iranian Foreign Minister expressed his country’s
appreciation for the positions of the Sultanate of Oman, under His Majesty’s leadership,
in supporting dialogue efforts and promoting security and stability in the region,
particularly in light of the current regional challenges.
