A Cafe, An Art Gallery… and a Whole Vibe!

Muska Cafe & Art Gallery – Where Comfort Meets Creativity

Sitting on the comfortable beige couch while drinking a flat white and eating cake feels like you’re in someone’s living room. The cozy atmosphere has the perfect light, especially at night – not too dark or bright.

A Place That Feels Like Home

Upon entering, one can come to Muska Cafe and Art Gallery and feel at home. The gallery is in the same building as Bait Al Luban in Muttrah.
In its past life, the building was a hospital and a home.
Today, the space is the perfect spot to work, relax, or join a workshop.

Interior & Ambience

The owners have thought of every detail—from lighting and space to furniture and decor.
When entering, one will notice four beige couches and two dark wood tables surrounded by colorful wall paintings, some featuring traditional Omani portraits.

The cafe has plenty of tables, suitable for working.
The tables and chairs are high enough so one doesn’t have to slouch to use their computer.
I spent three hours working here one afternoon.

Outdoor Charm

Visitors can enjoy sitting outside on the balcony at night, taking in the corniche and sea views.
Once you’re here, you won’t want to leave.

Workshops at Muska

Muska offers pottery classes and other workshops, such as jewelry making.
The gallery plans to feature various artists’ work on a rotating basis.

Delicious Pastries

It is hard to resist one of their delicious desserts.
The warm, soft brownie melts in your mouth.
I planned to eat part of it and save the rest for later. I did not save it because I could not stop eating.

The Victorian white cake is light and fluffy, and the kak with halwa is tasty.

There is always a different pastry to try, and the menu will soon include breakfast items and other small snacks.

A Place That Keeps Evolving

Returning visitors will always notice something new—
A new painting by a new artist, a new menu item, or a new activity.

Just visiting Muska and experiencing its different elements is a small tour in itself.
Welcome! 🌿
