The cultural milieu has witnessed groups of interactions and cooperation between the institutions of the two countries, whether in the field of cinema, visual arts and photography, or mutual translations adopted by a group of institutions, in addition to the role played by the (Persian Language Teaching Center) in Oman, and the joint cooperation provided by the institutions through cultural and scientific events, which seek to further activate this cooperation and discuss cultural and social issues related to the two countries.
We may note that this cooperation and exchange in the cultural fields between Oman and Iran stems from initiatives that attempt to contribute to revitalizing the intellectual and cultural movement between the two countries and benefit from the richness that characterizes each of them; What the Cultural Club, the Omani Society for Arts, and other institutions have provided, in addition to active participation in book fairs, art and cultural exhibitions between the two countries, as well as joint cooperation in the field of handicrafts, copper and perfume industries, all fall within a group of cultural practices that contribute to activating cultural movement in the two countries, and establishing the principle of openness to others and benefiting from them intellectually, literarily, scientifically and artistically. The fact is that the cultural and civilizational richness that distinguishes the two countries needs an expansion capable of supporting the plans and visions they aspire to; because the cinema sector in Tehran, for example, is among the leading sectors in the world. What director Abbas Kiarostami, nicknamed the (Philosopher of Iranian Cinema) has provided since 1970, of artistic visions that have reached the world, in addition to the flourishing of creative industries related to drama and television, can be used to develop this sector through institutional artistic programs that aim to develop visions and creative capabilities in a way that contributes to multiple artistic productions.
