The Honourable Lady Visits Musandam Governorate and Patronizes the Inauguration of Khasab Hospital

The Honourable Lady, the consort of His Majesty the Sultan, may God protect and preserve her, paid a gracious visit to Musandam Governorate as part of her continued support for comprehensive development and her keenness to review key tourism, developmental, and handicraft projects in the governorate.
Her visit included Bassah Beach Park in the Wilayat of Khasab, one of the prominent tourism and development projects in the governorate. The park serves as a recreational destination for residents and visitors alike and reflects the ongoing development efforts in the tourism sector.
The Honourable Lady also visited the Zari Khasab Exhibition initiative and the Handicraft House outlet affiliated with the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority in the governorate. During the visit, she viewed a variety of handmade crafts, jewelry, and unique products created by local artisans, which reflect Musandam’s authentic heritage, the diversity of its local environment, and the richness of its cultural legacy.
Her Highness praised the efforts made to highlight Omani handicrafts, support traditional industries, and encourage initiatives that contribute to strengthening the community economy.
She also visited the Musandam Women’s Market, affiliated with the Omani Women’s Association in the Wilayat of Khasab. The market featured various sections showcasing aspects of Musandam’s heritage, reflecting its authentic traditions, deep-rooted social customs, and traditional lifestyles that express the governorate’s cultural identity and uniqueness.
As part of the tour, the Honourable Lady visited the Wilayat of Bukha, where she toured the historic mosque in the wilayat’s center. She learned about its civilizational and religious significance, its reflection of the Omanis’ long-standing care for Islamic architecture, and its distinctive artistic and architectural features.

This comes within the framework of the state’s efforts to develop the health sector, enhance the healthcare system, and provide advanced medical services to citizens and residents of Musandam Governorate.
