The area offers diverse and demanding marine conditions, which perfectly simulate the tough environments our sailors will encounter in global races.
Looking Ahead to the Competitions
With the training camp entering its final stretch, the immediate focus is the upcoming Oman Sailing Championship. This event will take place during Mussanah Sailing Week from August 14th to 18th. Shortly after, the focus will shift to our female athletes as they prepare for the 3rd Arab Girls Sailing Championship in mid-October.
This program highlights Oman’s dedication to youth development and sporting excellence. By investing in our young athletes and hosting international training camps, Oman continues to establish itself as a premier global destination for marine sports, honoring a rich maritime history that stretches back for generations.
