Oman Beach Soccer Team Reaches Asian Beach Games Semi-Finals

The national beach soccer team of Oman has advanced to the semi-finals of the 6th Asian Beach Games after a convincing 4–1 victory over host nation China in Sanya.

The match, part of the tournament’s second round, showcased Oman’s attacking strength. Goals were scored by Abdullah Al-Salti, Fahad Al-Mashikhi, Khalid Al-Araimi, and Muslim Al-Araimi, while China’s lone goal came from Chen Zizheng.

This result secures Oman a place among the tournament’s top contenders, further strengthening its growing reputation in beach soccer across Asia.

Beach Handball Team Also Shines

Oman’s beach handball team has also delivered strong performances, recording consecutive 2–0 victories over Bangladesh and Jordan. The team is now preparing for a decisive match against Pakistan, which will determine qualification for the next stage.

Earlier in the competition, Oman secured a 2–0 win over Mongolia but faced setbacks with losses to Qatar and Thailand.
