Al-Muhannad Tawfiq Al-Balushi Wins Silver Medal

Al-Muhannad Tawfiq Al-Balushi Wins Silver Medal in Serbian Open Championship

Al-Muhannad Tawfiq Al-Balushi won the first silver medal in the Serbian Open Championship, classified as two-star, in the weight of -45 kg, led by the national coach, Al-Muhannad Al-Mudhaffar. The championship saw participation from more than 800 participants from various European and international countries in the youth category, with world champions competing in most categories. This victory is part of the preparations to earn the largest number of points for the World Youth Championship, which will be held in Korea at the beginning of October.

Al-Muhannad Al-Balushi is a national team player and a member of the Majan Academy, who achieved historic prominence for the Sultanate in Asia in 2022. He also won a silver medal in the Gulf Games, held at the end of April 2024 in the United Arab Emirates in the Emirate of Fujairah.
