Ramadhan is Approaching
For those who aren’t familiar with Ramadan and its traditions here in Oman, some might be shocked by the sight of suddenly crowded shops, markets, and jammed roads.
As Ramadan is approaching, markets get busy. People prefer to get all the needed errands before the holy months to avoid shopping while fasting. It can be tiring for some, especially with the temperature rising and long fasting hours.
Restaurants are closed during the day and open right before Maghreb to serve Iftar meals.
.
If you’re living in Muscat, you might need to check the traffic apps as highways can get congested in the mornings from 7:00 to 10:100 am and from 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm -during the weekdays due to the change in working hours for government and private sectors)
.
We wish everyone a Joyous month of Ramadan.
