Oman’s Achievements at ITEX 2024

The Sultanate of Oman won a number of gold and silver medals at the 35th International Exhibition of Invention, Innovation and Technology (ITEX), which was held in Kuala Lumpur during the period “16-18” of this May with the participation of 40 countries.

The exhibition is an international platform for attracting inventions and innovations, as it collected 2,500 innovations in the fields of science and technology, and aimed to attract interested innovators, investors, and manufacturers.

Medal Winners

  • Tasnim bint Muhammad Al-Daoudia won the gold medal for her project “Dilution of Heavy Oil Using Hydrogen Injection Technology – Green Oil” in the field of energy.
  • Engineer Imad bin Abdullah Bait Ubaydoun also won the gold medal in the same field for the project (Water Treatment Using the Electrochemical Method).
  • Mazen bin Rashid Al Badi won the silver medal for his innovation (Doctor Robot) in the field of health.


Ahmed Al Harthi
