By the end of September 2024, the contribution of industrial activities to the GDP at current prices reached 6.09 billion Omani Rials, marking a 5.4% growth compared to the previous year.

The manufacturing sector grew by 8.5%, reaching 2.686 billion Omani Rials at constant prices. Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in manufacturing rose by 51.9% to 2.13 billion Omani Rials in Q3 2024.

Oman’s Industrial Strategy 2040, approved in May 2024, focuses on:

  • Developing supply chains and logistics.
