Oman prioritizes food security by ensuring a stable and reliable food supply. The government has implemented policies to diversify its grain import sources, collaborating with countries such as Australia and those in Latin America. The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Water Resources is spearheading efforts to fortify the nation’s food and water security systems through three primary strategies focused on agriculture, fisheries, and water resources, all aligned with Oman Vision 2040.
