Moosa Omar AlZadjali – one of Oman’s pioneering Artists
Moosa Omar was born in Muttrah, Sultanate of Oman, in 1971
He is considered one of the Omani artists who have a prominent presence in artistic events and occasions on a regular and continuous basis, whether locally or internationally. He renewed his experience from one era to another to find his purpose in art through the idea and methods of its performance, so he worked on different materials, especially burlap.
The impressions it bears bring it closer to his Sufi thought with its bright and exposed colors, such as red, green, and blue in particular, carrying it as his symbol and sign, in a continuous state of experimentation, where form and content are harmonized through the open and rich color spaces in his works, intensifying the language of the symbol to suggest successive eras and show the side Humanity and intellectual and emotional conflicts in the vocabulary of the artwork that are interconnected with each other in a formation connected to a continuous movement that symbolizes the continuity of life, including a group of songs for the sun, and dreams.
