Launch of the Exploratory Journey: “Sultanate of Oman: The Jewel of Arabia”

His Highness Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said announced through a video clip the launch of the exploratory journey, “Sultanate of Oman: The Jewel of Arabia.”

Peace be upon you and God’s mercy and blessings. To begin with, we are pleased to express our deep gratitude to His Royal Highness Prince William, the Prince of Wales, who, last November, joined us in the honorary patronage of the inauguration of the exploratory journey,
“Sultanate of Oman: The Jewel of Arabia.” This initiative represents one of the joint cultural exchange projects between the two friendly countries.

This project reflects our belief in the importance of fostering a spirit of adventure and boldness among our youth and our commitment to developing their skills in scientific research, exploration, preserving cultural and natural heritage, and achieving environmental sustainability.
With the commencement of this journey, during which a joint team of adventurous Omani youth and their counterparts from the United Kingdom will chart its path—from Ras Al Hadd in the South Al Sharqiyah Governorate along the coast overlooking the Arabian Sea to Salalah in the Dhofar Governorate—we wish the team members a journey full of benefit and enjoyment amid the unique natural features of the Sultanate of Oman.
