Unveiling Future Horizons in Design, Construction, and Investment
Starting from tomorrow, Monday, April 29th, activities for the Real Estate Conference and the “Oman Design and Construction Week 2024” will kick off at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Center. These events will see broad participation from both local and international experts and companies engaged in real estate development.
The opening ceremony of the conference and the week-long event will be presided over by His Excellency Abdul Salam bin Mohammed Al Murshidi, the Chairman of the Omani Investment Authority.
This conference stands as the largest annual gathering in Oman’s real estate development sector. Alongside it, there will be the ninth edition of the real estate exhibition and the nineteenth edition of the “Oman Design and Construction Week”. These platforms offer ample opportunities for the exchange of knowledge, experiences, and expertise, while also showcasing cutting-edge technologies in real estate development.
In this edition, the conference aims to bolster Oman’s stature as a promising investment hub in real estate development. It seeks to foster communication and partnership within the real estate sector, share experiences to facilitate sectoral growth, nurture startups, improve industry efficiency, and highlight the latest technological advancements.
The exhibition will feature a wide array of projects from the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning, including the Green Mountain Destination project, Sultan Haitham City, Oman’s Maritime Front in Al Khawair Down Town, the Future City with Salalah Touristic facade, Future Sohar City, and detailed presentations of the structural plan for Greater Muscat.
The conference will cover diverse topics crucial for the sector’s growth and evolution, such as investment opportunities, digital transformation, provincial development, legislation, facilities management, homeowners’ associations, future cities, innovation, digital transformation, financing, real estate investment, model housing, and real estate sector marketing.
With participation from over 50 international experts and speakers, the conference will host around 10 panel discussions on various topics, featuring 40 working papers. The accompanying exhibition will see participation from approximately 150 exhibitors representing 40 countries.
