His Majesty the Sultan Attends Oman-China Investment Forum, Strengthening Investment Ties with China
BEIJING: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik attended the Oman-China Investment Partnership Horizons Forum at the headquarters of the Bank of China in Beijing, as part of His Majesty’s state visit to the People’s Republic of China.
The forum aimed to explore investment opportunities, strengthen economic ties, and promote strategic partnerships between Oman and China across various sectors.
Oman Investment Authority Signs 23 Agreements and Partnerships
In the presence of His Majesty the Sultan, the Oman Investment Authority signed 23 agreements, cooperation memorandums, memorandums of understanding (MoUs), and strategic investment partnerships with Chinese institutions and companies.
The signings took place on the sidelines of the Oman-China Investment Partnership Horizons Forum, reflecting the two countries’ commitment to expanding investment cooperation and fostering mutually beneficial economic partnerships.
The agreements are expected to support greater collaboration between Omani and Chinese entities, create new investment opportunities, and strengthen economic ties between the two countries.
His Majesty the Sultan Meets Chinese Premier
His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik met with the Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to strengthen strategic cooperation and expand economic, trade, and investment partnerships between Oman and China.
They also exchanged views on several current issues of mutual concern, reaffirming the importance of continued dialogue and cooperation in advancing the interests of both countries.
His Majesty Concludes Visit to China, Heads to Brunei Darussalam
His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik departed from the People’s Republic of China after concluding his state visit, heading to Brunei Darussalam for a three-day state visit.
The visit to Brunei Darussalam marks the next stage of His Majesty’s official Asian tour, aimed at strengthening bilateral relations and expanding cooperation with friendly nations.
